Sound Motive have 'wrapped' filming a live-action video for Ebbon Intelligence at a secret location in Wiltshire.

You may not need a voice-over if you are producing a hero video for a webpage or a music-driven showreel. 
However, if you are demonstrating a product, showing something technical or explaining a concept, it’s important to consider audio narration.

As a new lockdown came into force this week you might be wondering what that means for meeting prospects and filming your products or business.

We started pre-production this week with hot start-up Protolaunch. They're developing propulsion systems designed specifically for micro launchers that are powerful, reliable, and cost-efficient.

We are excited to be joining the Harwell Science and Innovation Campus with our exhibitor stand during the Connect Harwell Virtual Marketplace event on Wednesday, 9 December.

Earlier this year we were commissioned to produce an animation for Lacuna Space that they included in their keynote speech and on their exhibition stand at The Things Conference in Amsterdam.

Going beyond a statement in the post or by email they released a video message from the CEO providing reassurance to their global workforce.

Wondering whether or not to outsource your video communications requirements? 

There are lots of people who enjoy dabbling in video and there are now many 'cheap and cheerful' tools out there that make it easier than ever to do it yourself. Almost anyone with a camera phone can now start making basic films. 

In a way, this 'video democracy' is all good. User-Generated Content (UGC) by its very nature doesn't have to be slick and professional.  Much of its appeal lies in its viral spontaneity, which can be great for recording live event phenomena or adding a down-to-earth touch. But is this method appropriate when communicating a concise business message for your brand?  

This week we were back at Oxford Space Systems filming for their next generation of exciting deployable space structures. We can't say much about their technology at this stage as it is in development but the shoot itself was very interesting.

We focus on marketing films for businesses but when offered the chance to work with an Oxfordshire-based charity we couldn't resist. ​
