Direct Appeal

We have been filming some learning resource presentations.

IFES interviews

These interviews were pieces to camera featuring the leadership team appealing to stakeholders to engage with important procedures. The technique of speaking facing the camera is both confrontational and personal. The speaker appeals directly to the viewer. You may have seen this method used in the Queen's speech or the US presidential address. For longer dialogue like this, it usually requires an autocue pre-loaded with a script written in advance. The main alternative is where the speaker is talking to an interviewer who is either visible in the interview or out of sight ('off-camera"). You can see examples of this in the promotional video we made for Phastar. Not sure which format is right for your project? Contact us and we will be happy to advise you.
